With another morning back in Q’town, we were happy to start our morning with brekkie at Vudu Café which was really great. Kind of became our favourite in Q´town!
Then we took off on a spectacular drive to Wanaka via Cromwell (due to bad roads thru the mountains). Thinking we might be fifth time lucky, we had finally cancelled our skydive in Q’town all together and rebooked for Wanaka, but alas, it was cancelled again. This was the deciding factor for us. There was someone that didn´t want us to go, and we were not about to tempt fate anymore. So, with a quick change of plan, we headed over for a couple brews Wanaka beerworks then onto to Puzzleworld for Kyle to play with all the other kids. J Actually, we both wanted to to do the big maze but it kept raining so we didn´t give it a go.
After settling in , we took a little walk to take in the sights of Wanaka, which ultimately led us to Speights Ale House for a yummy, American-sized dinner of ribs, ¨”chicken parcels”, and banoffee pie. Who knew that I would like banoffee pie so much?? I´m in love with it, and will spend the rest of the trip looking to have it again!! Yummy!!!
